Our Mission
Our mission is to support each individual in their unique journey toward growth and independence. We focus on building self-advocacy and self-awareness while empowering individuals to take control of their lives, recognize their value, and understand how they deserve to be treated.
Neurodiversity
Everyone’s brain develops in a unique way
The term coined by Judy Singer, refers to a range of neuro conditions, often associated with Autism, as well as; ADHD, Dyslexia, Downs Syndrome, and other intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Neurodivergent means having a brain that works differently from the average or “neurotypical” person. This may be differences in social preferences, ways of learning, ways of communicating and/or ways of perceiving the environment.
It points to the fact that every human has a unique nervous system with a unique combination of abilities, strength and needs.
